Limited Release! 

In celebration of its 10th anniversary, Litchfield Distillery is proud to announces the release of a limited-edition 7-year Bourbon Whiskey under its prestigious Founders’ Reserve appellation. This release marks a significant milestone as it is the first time the distillery has offered a Connecticut-Grown Bourbon Whiskey with a seven-year age statement. Founders’ Reserve is a special sub-brand, reserved exclusively for extraordinary releases that earn unanimous approval from all three co-owners and brothers: David, Jack, and Peter Baker.

The bourbon is distilled from a mash bill of 75% non-GMO corn, 20% winter rye, and 5% malted barley, all sourced from local Connecticut farms. Every Founders' Reserve bottle is hand-signed by all three Baker brothers and comes packaged in a limited-edition wood gift box that includes a special 10th Anniversary Glencairn glass.

Distiller Notes: "Aging for seven years led to a fair amount of angel share, creating a lush and full-bodied bourbon whiskey. You’ll experience notes of sweet butterscotch, vanilla with a hint of apple on the nose. The palate is a touch spicy with continued butterscotch notes, cinnamon and toasted baking spice. The finish is long, smooth, with a touch of black pepper."
